On September 30, Mike Bax of Lithium Magazine conducted an interview with Korn bassist Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can now watch the chat below.
As previously reported, Korn will be the musical guest on next Monday night’s [October 7] edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The band will perform on the show’s Sony Outdoor Stage in front of a standing-room-only crowd.
Korn kicked off its new North American tour on September 26 in Philadelphia, just 12 days ahead of the October 8 release of the band’s 11th studio album, “The Paradigm Shift”. This is the group’s second trek since the official return of guitarist Brian “Head” Welch to the lineup after eight years away. Guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer told The Pulse Of Radio it’s great to have Welch back alongside him every night. “It takes a lot of pressure off me, as the only guitarist for eight years, especially with the new record,” he said. “So it’s a lot of fun. It was honestly not a lot of fun last time. I was still enjoying what I did, but now it’s just like, sit back and kind of have a good time.”
Along on the tour as support are Asking Alexandria and Welch‘s solo band, Love And Death.
Korn will also stage a one-day version of its Family Values festival on October 5 in Denver, with the bill including Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, Machine Gun Kelly and Beware Of Darkness in addition to the headliners.
“The Paradigm Shift” is the first Korn album in a decade to feature Welch. The current single is called “Never Never”.
