We received the following message from Ray LeGrand vocalist for power/Prog-Metal Band Oblivion Myth:
It feels a little bit like a scene from one of those epic dark ages war films, kind of like Braveheart, Iron Clad or 300. You know where the Captain has his troops in place, at the ready with the archers holding their bows aimed and at full draw, but he keeps shouting, “Hold… Hold… Hold….” and then comes that pivital moment when he shouts the order, “LOOSE!” and a volley of arrows flies through the air, making way for the troops to unleash their fury!
Well, these emails are like that volly of arrows and the new Oblivion Myth lineup are the troops and we are ready to unveil this new beast for you all!
Our first date with the new lineup, which will be this week, Friday, June 29th at The Boro Bar and Grill in Murfreesboro, TN. OM is not being listed on the bill and this is by design. We are using this as a “warm up gig” for fall bookings to build a little buzz and work any kinks out of the live set. This will be the first time Ray and Keith will be joined onstage with our three new members. We are scheduled to hit the stage at 10:30PM with a 40 minutes set that will include:
Evil of All Corners
Life
Everlasting Fire
Believer Deceiver
Mystique
War Child
Venom of Vices
OM will also be dropping the new, much anticipated, “Between Light and Shadow” single for FREE next weekend to commemmorate the launch of the new lineup.
We hope to see you from a stage near you sometime soon. Thank you so much for your support. There are a number of good things in the works that we cannot wait to share with you… this is just the tip of the iceberg!
