midnight_eternal_01__1__4d2Progressive metal icons Queensryche are continuing to put support behind their standout 2015 effort, “Condition Human.” The group will head out in the fall later this year for a month-long string of dates backed by Los Angeles metal legends Armored Saint and symphonic newcomers Midnight Eternal (picture).

The trek is set to launch on Nov. 15 in Queensryche’s hometown of Seattle, Wash. and will work its way down the West Coast, over to Texas and Florida then up the East Coast before turning back across the country and wrapping up in Colorado Springs, Colo. on Dec. 15.

Frontman Todd La Torre exclaimed, “We are pleased to announce that we will be hitting the road this November with the one and only Armored Saint and Midnight Eternal. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you for this great billing of musical diversity and high energy performances! Come join the Ryche this November – December!”

“Condition Human” marks the second Queensryche album since La Torre was brought in to relieve the dismissed Geoff Tate in 2012. The album landed at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 and fans can expect to hear some new cuts like like ‘Guardian,’ ‘Arrow of Time’ and ‘Eye9’ spliced in with the classics.

Armored Saint last released “Win Hands Down” last year, their second since reuniting in 2006 and seventh studio album overall.

Midnight Eternal is a symphonic metal band based out of New York City/NJ. The band was formed in March 2014 when two members of Operatika (Richard Fischer and Boris Zaks) invited Daniel Prestup (Rivera Bomma, Spider Rockets) and Mike LePond (Symphony X) to join them in recording a two-song demo. During the recording, the band acquired the talents of vocalist Raine Hilai based on her previous work in theater and her solo endeavor. The planned demo quickly evolved into the formation of a full-time band when it became apparent the group had something special on their hands. Shortly thereafter, Greg Manning (of Spider Rockets, Zamora) joined the band as permanent member taking over bass duties.

The self-titled debut album was released on April 29th through Inner Wound Recordings, engineered by Eric Rachel [Skid Row, Symphony X] and the mixing and mastering was handled by Tommy Hansen [Helloween, Pretty Maids, Jorn]. The impressive artwork was created by Jan Yrlund [Apocalyptica, Korpiklaani, Delain].

Midnight Eternal will definitely appeal to fans of bands like Delain, Nightwish and Kamelot.
