‘Michael W. Stand’ (Altar Boys/Altar Billies) Releases 3 Song Acoustic EP

Thumper Punk Records is thrilled to announce the release of Michael W. Stand’s contribution to the 3 Song Acoustic EP series. Michael W. Stand is a pioneer in gospel music, with a distinguished career that spans several decades and multiple genres. Founded in the early 1980s, his band The Altar Boys developed a worldwide following as they boldly expressed their faith over Orange County style punk and alternative rock. In the 1990s, his band Clash of Symbols stood at the forefront of hard hitting rock, with catchy and accessible pop melodies.

In his current band The Altar Billies, Michael W continues to flex his songwriting abilities, guitar skills and vocal talent to reach out to a diverse audience of people that appreciate the finer musical qualities found in rockabilly, gospel, and country. His 3 Song Acoustic series release features stripped down acoustic versions of three of his more notable efforts with an added measure of western flare and fancy.

Track listing:

1. World Burning
2. Long, Long Road
3. Locomotive Don’t Pass Me By

Available as limited edition 7″ vinyl from the TPR webstore and for digital download on iTunes, AmazonMP3, and from all the usual suspects.
