German Doom Metal Band ‘A Sickness Unto Death’ Announces New Bass Player

German Doom Metal Band A Sickness Unto Death just checked in with the following announcement:

“Leonid Rubinstein, who already supported us during our January tour, will from now on pull you and us into the very uttermost depths with this four strings! DOOM ON!”

In January, A Sickness Unto Death was on a mini tour together with British Doom/Metallers My Silent Wake. Video footage of the show at Little Devil, Tilburg (Jan. 15th) can be seen below.

A Sickness Unto Death’s sophomore album “The Great Escape” has been released on November 21th. 2015 through Source Of Deluge.

A Sickness Unto Death formed in the beginning of 2012 as a collaboration between Michael Maas and Tim Ziegeler. Michael runs the small project studio “Refuge Studio” close to Bremen, Germany. Tim also hails from the German north and has been involved in several musical projects such as the doomy Visions of Moribund and the brutal Hasszorn.

Tim immediately connected to Michael‘s material and began contributing his signature vocal lines and lyrics. Since then, the duo has continued writing songs which culminated in the release of the album “Despair”. The album was released through TWS May 3rd 2013. Meanwhile, the project has grown into a full band. With Giordano Bruni (Ex- The Archtype, Guitar), Marius Paschen (Ex- Collapsing Sun, Drums) and Michael Nowak (Bass).
