Former ‘The Chariot’ Members Release First Music with New Project ‘Holy+Gold’

holygold_051Holy+Gold, the new band comprised from former members of The Chariot and The Glass Ocean, recently added another member to their mix: Scottie Henry, founding guitarist for Norma Jean. The band have released their first full single earlier this week, ‘Bad-Bird’ is available for streaming below. A full album is promised for the Summer 2016.

“We are like that mattress commercial where the kids are jumping on the bed and the wine doesn’t spill, except it does spill and it’s a bottle of whiskey.”

The five piece band is Scottie Henry, drummer Heath Ladnier, who played with The Glass Ocean starting in 2007; Keller Harbin, vocalist and guitarist for The Glass Ocean and who also played with The Chariot for “Everything is Alive…” and the “Unsung” EP; Brandon Henderson, lead guitarist for The Chariot from 2011-2013; and guitarist Justin Graham, The Glass Ocean’s axeman beginning in 2007.
