Metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa For Today just announced “Wake European Tour” 2016 with special guests Silent Planet and Novelists. The trek begins on April 1st. in Chemnitz, Germany and ends on April 17th. in Saarbrücken, Germany. Dates and locations are listed below.
“Wake” has been released Oct. 2 of last year via Nuclear Blast. The effort is available on CD as well as on vinyl (black, red) and as digital download. The video for ‘Bitter Roots’ can be seen below.

The story of For Today remains one of triumph. Breaking out of Iowa is hard enough. When you’re playing heavy music with a Christian message, it’s even harder. Still, the quintet — Mattie Montgomery (lead vocals), Ryan Leitru (lead guitar, vocals), Brandon Leitru (bass), Sam Penner (rhythm guitar), and David Puckett (drums, percussion) — consistently perseveres.
