The Finnish cinematic metal band Dark Sarah is currently in the studio working on their fourth album – Frontwoman Heidi Parviainen (picture) checked in with the following:
Been really quiet here lately, so sorry! We are working with the upcoming album and not so much we can reveil yet, therefore not so much news to share. But we hope you are still with us cause when we start updating new album stuff -it’s a BOOOM ! In two weeks we’re shooting new promopics and atm we’re preparing the new layouts for website and store and many other ”invisible” stuff. I’m writing the new story and recordings are progressing. I’m also making new Dark Sarah jewelry and been posting few pics of the prototypes on my own social media. We’re all very anxious to tell you about the new album but SOON.
‘I used to look at the world with blue eyes. I used to love with an open heart, but I was naïve. The world needed to show that to me. I got angry for my weakness and angry with the world. In the darkest swirls of my mind I got stronger and meaner and started to change. I worked with my fear and I became Dark Sarah I´m not bitter; I´m just bitter sweet.’
Dark Sarah‘s latest album“The Golden Moth” was released on September 21st via Inner Wound Recordings.
“The Golden Moth” is the last part of the first Dark Sarah trilogy (The Chronicles). The trilogy tells about Dark Sarah‘s travel through three worlds: The Middle World (“Behind The Black Veil” album), The Underworld (“The Puzzle” album) and The Upper World (“The Golden Moth” album).
