‘David Ellefson’ (Megadeth) Celebrates 51st Birthday In Manchester (Video)

david ellefsonMegadeth bassist David Ellefson celebrated his 51st birthday backstage before the band’s November 12 concert in Manchester, England. Video footage of the celebrations, as posted on Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine‘s account on Periscope, a live video streaming platform owned by Twitter, can be seen below.

Megadeth will embark on a U.S. tour in February 2016. The four-band package will mark Megadeth‘s first U.S. run of dates in support of its new album, “Dystopia”, which is scheduled for release in January.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Super Collider” was recorded earlier in the year in Nashville, Tennessee and was produced by Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine and Toby Wright (Alice In Chains, Korn). The CD was mixed by Josh Wilbur, who has previously worked with Lamb Of God, All That Remains & Gojira.
