According to Billboard, the surviving members of We Came As Roman will stage a memorial concert for their late singer Kyle Pavone on October 28 at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan.
The “Promise Me” tribute will raise money for the newly established Kyle Pavone Foundation and will feature “a whole bunch of guest vocalists, guest musicians, tons of DJs,” co-vocalist Dave Stephens said during We Came as Romans performance Sunday night at the same venue as the opening act for Bullet For My Valentine. “It’s just gonna be a big party celebrating all the awesome things Kyle did in his life.”
Pavone died of an accidental drug overdose in late August. His bandmates said in a statement last month that they would honor the singer by going ahead with their previously announced U.S. tour.
