Metalcore / deathcore band Betraying The Martyrs are going to play mainstage at Hellfest 2012, coming June.
Hellfest is France’s biggest metal music festival, featuring world famous names from within the genre. Headliners for this years edition include Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Machine Head, King Diamond, Lamb Of God, Blue Oyster Cult, Amon Amarth, Trivium, Children Of Bodom, Cannibal Corpse, Hatebreed, Dimmu Borgir.
Betraying The Martyrs is a 6 piece metal/hardcore band from Paris, France with a new and refreshing attitude to modern metal that is certain to take the music scene by storm. A group of open-minded individuals, who’s only goal was to write punishing tracks, deliver an astounding live performance, and portray a good image with a message of positive thinking and good morals. The band just released its very first album Breathe In Life on September, 2011 via Sumerian Records, introducing Aaron, an English born vocal monster who’s going to bring the band to a new international level. Betraying The Martyrs will go on tour through Europe [Germany, United Kingdom, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium and other countries], starting Februari 10 in Germany and the tour ends March 3 in The Netherlands. Check out all dates and locations HERE.

Hellfest is an annual music festival which takes place in Clisson, France in mid-June. It is held within the Val de Moine sport complex in Clisson, approximately 35 km south-east of the city of Nantes, and approximately 400 km south-west of the nation’s capital Paris. Billed as an “extreme music festival”, the programme features a variety of hard rock, metal and hardcore acts. The Festival is active since 2006 the festival has been met with much controversy as well as much praise from the metal world.
